This year’s theme, “First Aid in Migration Contexts,” reminds us that life-saving knowledge needs to reach everyone, everywhere.
That principle runs deep across our industry. In 2010, Cementation was selected to lead one of three rescue plans that freed 33 trapped miners from Chile’s San José mine, a global effort built on the skill and dedication of rescue teams from around the world.
That same commitment lives on in mine rescue teams everywhere, ours and countless others across the industry, trained and ready on every site, in every country. Wherever they work, their dedication to keeping each other safe never wavers, and that’s worth recognizing every day, not just this one.
