Wednesday, September 30 marks Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Today, we honour the Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the families and communities who still carry the intergenerational impacts. Inspired by Phyllis Webstad’s story, the orange shirt stands as a reminder that every child matters.
At Cementation, we are committed to advancing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action 92: Business and Reconciliation, through relationships built on trust, respect, and meaningful access to training and employment.
On September 30, we invite everyone to wear orange, listen to Survivors, and continue learning together.
