From a co-op student at 16 from Woodville, Ontario [FlexNgate] to Equipment and Shop Manager, Ryan’s journey shows what hard work and growth at Cementation can achieve. What drew him in? The variety of work and the chance to get hands-on with complex mechanical systems—powertrain, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical—across different locations.
Ryan’s drive and determination were shaped early on. Growing up on farms and tinkering with equipment of all kinds, he learned to solve problems with his hands—an approach he brings to every overhaul and optimization. He led the integration of mobile equipment software initiative within our North American Maintenance Facility, elevating standards and setting a clear path forward for the team. Just as importantly, he’s a mentor at heart, invested in developing tradespeople at every stage and raising the bar for the industry.
When he’s not in the shop, you’ll find Ryan outdoors hunting, fishing, trapping and passing that passion on to his kids.
