Our founder, Albert François, was busy at this year’s CIM CONNECT conference!
Albert had the chance to attend some truly insightful presentations, including “Innovative Approach to Long Duration Energy Storage for Sustainability, as well as Alternate Revenue Streams to Help Project Economics,” presented by Patrick Hudd and Aarne Perez. He also dove into the technical details of “Developing Performance Requirements for Blair Multi-Rope Hoist Compensating Sheaves,” a technical session by Martin Lepage and Joshua DeBenedet.
The Cementation booth saw a great turnout, and Albert loved reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones. A huge highlight was attending the awards dinner, where Big Grassy First Nation LP and Cementation Canada won the CIM Indigenous Partnership Award—a proud moment for everyone.
Albert thinks this might have been his favourite trip to CIM, but he says that every year, so you’ll have to take our word for it.
