We’re thrilled to be featured in a CIM Magazine article highlighting the incredible work at the Thompson T3 mine, where our team completed the longest single pull raise bore project ever in the western hemisphere at 3529 ft long. They doubled the feat by completing a second raise nearby providing twin vent shafts for the mine. This major ventilation upgrade project was critical in extending the life of the mine and was performed safely in one of Canada’s most challenging environments.
A huge thank you to Mehanaz Yakub for connecting with Ryan Lyle, P.Eng. and Glen Fallon Fallon so they could share their insights and firsthand experience in the article—their contributions showcase Cementation’s remarkable spirit of innovation and collaboration as we celebrate the teamwork behind this milestone achievement.
