Last week, Albert François was in Montréal for the World Tunnel Congress, kicking things off with two days at the sold out ITA-CET training course, Building the Future – Delivering Tunnel Projects for the Next Generation.
From site investigation and planning to procurement strategies, risk management, machine learning, and real-world project lessons, the course brought together experts from around the globe to share ideas and experiences from some of the industry’s most complex underground projects.
True to form, Albert arrived with his “thinking hat” on and a genuine curiosity for what’s next in our industry. As our founder, he continues to model the importance of innovation, continuous improvement, and learning from both successes and challenges along the way.
Weeks like this are a great reminder that progress happens when people are willing to ask questions, share lessons learned, and stay open to new ways of thinking. A fantastic week of learning, conversation, and connection with professionals helping shape the future of underground construction.
